pollution china Lu Guang was born 1961 in Zhejiang province of China and encountered photography at the age of 20 when working in a silk factory. He studied at Beijing’s Tsinghua University from 1993 to 1995 and has since worked as a freelance photographer. His work is focused on social and economic issues. Here is his documentary project “Pollution in China.”

Amazing Book Sculptures

Zanimljive skulpture od starih knjiga Su Blackwell likes fairy tales and folk-lore and is making several book-sculptures where she cuts out shapes from old books and make them to something new. Here you can see that she has made mini-trees and plant sculptures that she has protected inside glass boxes. She does also cut-out illustrations and other stuff as well. You can take a look at some of the book art where she has cut out castles and trees and made them look like they are growing out of the pages, like the plot has come alive. Why she’s using paper has something to do with the fact that paper has been used for communication since its invention.

World’s Smallest Aquarium

Najmanji akvarij  na svijetu Siberian craftsman Anatoly Konenko is responsible for the smallest aquarium in the world. A glass cube measuring 30 x 24 x 14 mm, filled with multicolor stones and sand, contains 10 ml of water for a tiny fish. It also have a little water purification filter to keep the water healthy for fish. Only baby fish can fit inside the tiny glass cube that is the world’s smallest aquarium.
