Snake swallows chameleon

Snake swallows chameleon Footage shows the savage serpent circling the animal before striking it and injecting its body with a toxic paralysing poison. This is the moment a defenceless chameleon comes face-to-face with a very hungry snake and is eaten for lunch. The pictures were taken by British photographer Paula Webster in Madagascar at the Andasibe National Park.

Face to face with animals by David Yarrow Scottish wildlife photographer David Yarrow comes face to face with deadly animals to capture stunning images. He has travelled to some of the world’s remotest destinations. Mr Yarrow, from Glasgow, has produced almost 90 black and white pictures of wildlife in some of the harshest landscapes on Earth. The self-taught 47-year-old said the confrontation was his ‘one moment of real fear’ during his travels to collect the stunning pictures for his new book.

The largest box of popcorn

Najeveća kutija kokica na svijetu izrađena u Osijeku Cineplexx and Avenue Mall Osijek, Osijek, Croatia, today got the Guinness world record for making the largest box of popcorn in the world! This unusual event took place outside the main entrance to the mall Avenue Mall Osijek. To break the record Cineplexx prepared even 2.8 tons of crunchy popcorn that filled a box that was 5.37 meters high and 2.5 to 3.5 meters wide, with a volume around 52 000 liters. The largest box of popcorn was the whole time supervised by the official judge Tarika Vara from Guinness World Records, and the last few popcorn were thrown into the giant box by the representatives of Cineplexx and Avenue Mall Osijek.

Pollution in China

pollution china Lu Guang was born 1961 in Zhejiang province of China and encountered photography at the age of 20 when working in a silk factory. He studied at Beijing’s Tsinghua University from 1993 to 1995 and has since worked as a freelance photographer. His work is focused on social and economic issues. Here is his documentary project “Pollution in China.”

Amazing Book Sculptures

Zanimljive skulpture od starih knjiga Su Blackwell likes fairy tales and folk-lore and is making several book-sculptures where she cuts out shapes from old books and make them to something new. Here you can see that she has made mini-trees and plant sculptures that she has protected inside glass boxes. She does also cut-out illustrations and other stuff as well. You can take a look at some of the book art where she has cut out castles and trees and made them look like they are growing out of the pages, like the plot has come alive. Why she’s using paper has something to do with the fact that paper has been used for communication since its invention.

World’s Smallest Aquarium

Najmanji akvarij  na svijetu Siberian craftsman Anatoly Konenko is responsible for the smallest aquarium in the world. A glass cube measuring 30 x 24 x 14 mm, filled with multicolor stones and sand, contains 10 ml of water for a tiny fish. It also have a little water purification filter to keep the water healthy for fish. Only baby fish can fit inside the tiny glass cube that is the world’s smallest aquarium.
